Hochschultage 2024

40 Years of HST!

The HST (Hochschultage) is a three-day cultural festival on the campus of Fulda University.

In 2025, it takes place from Thursday, June 12th, to Saturday, June 14th.

It is carried out by us, the General Student Committee (AStA), with the help of the 8 student councils and organized on a voluntary basis by many students from the university.

During the HST, a part of the campus is transformed into a festival area where, next to a big band stage and a small DJ stage, numerous food and drink stalls ensure you can enjoy a wide range of cultural activities while being well entertained.

You can expect acts from a wide variety of genres, food from different cultures, interesting workshops, lectures and readings, fun competitions and other activities as well as unforgettable evenings with your friends.
For children and their parents or grandparents, there will be a family day on Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, with bouncy castles, face painting and other great activities.

The HST have always been the highlight of the year, and we want to keep it that way!

A detailed site plan, the cultural and stage program and further information will be published on this site in the weeks and months leading up to the event.

Admission is free, no registration is required. Only cash payment is possible at the stalls!

We are so excited to celebrate with you again!

Interactive Site Plan

Tips for use:

  • click on "Full Screen Mode" (below the map) for the best experience
  • the layer button offers several practical functions:
    • you can use the filter to search for specific things (e.g. "Not" for the emergency exits or "FSR" for the FSR stands)
    • all layers are listed below and all associated elements are listed by clicking on the arrow symbol
    • these can be hidden by clicking on the eye symbol if required
    • the magnifying glass symbol centres the map on the associated element
  • the location button shows or hides your own location
    • in Firefox and Brave the button does not seem to work reliably, but it does in all other common browsers

Good to know

Do not bring any drinks (except water) to the festival site

Please empty any drinks before entering the festival area, otherwise you will have to throw them away at the entrances. The only exception is a bottle of water. Please also don't try to smuggle drinks onto the site and save yourself the discussion with our security. Our beverage stands must also earn money somehow and try to do so at fair prices.

Garbage disposal

There are large black garbage containers on the entire site and in front of the canteen.
Please use these in particular and clean up behind yourself so that everyone can find a clean area.
Please do not dispose of glass and deposit bottles in these normal garbage containers - for glass, there will be (unfortunately also) black garbage containers marked as glass containers at every entrance.
We are also setting up collection points for returnable bottles.

Code of conduct

  • We are committed to a peaceful and safe festival where we can have a great time together.
Please take care of each other and behave considerately towards your fellow human beings so that everyone can feel comfortable.
  • We are against any form of sexualized, racist, trans*phobic, homophobic, anti-muslim, antisemitic or ableist violence.
  • We do not tolerate assaultive, transgressive, discriminatory behavior or actions.
  • We do not tolerate the threat or use of verbal or physical violence.
  • Where a violation of personal boundaries occurs is decided solely by the person concerned. We do not question the experience of others.
Pay attention to respectful and sensitive interaction with other people.
  • Important: Only a clear yes means yes. No always means no!
Please always act according to the consensus principle and pay particular attention if you and the other person are not sober.
  • Please take care not to photograph other people without their express permission.
  • We would like to see a responsible approach to the consumption of stimulants.
Please behave considerately towards yourself and your fellow human beings.
  • Violations of our code of conduct will result in exclusion from our festival.
